Ordering Service Parts - 130i
Hey guys.
Going to give my 130i a good service soon - oil, oil filter, air filter and plugs to start with. I've found some good places overseas for these but can anyone confirm the model of car that we use when ordering from the USA as they don't have the 130i model? Lots of places have the E82 with the N52 so I presume this will do? https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-e93-e9xsvc2kt https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E82-12....0L/ES2723114/ Mick's Garage has cheap shipping and 20% for this weekend. Can anyone offer advice on spark plugs though? There's quite a few types and looking for feedback on what you guys have used in the past. http://www.micksgarage.com/search/sp...~~Bosch~~~Beru Any advice would be great. Cheers |

If you are buying oil, filters and spark plugs i wouldn't bother from overseas. plus aussie dollar isnt that strong
Oil will be expensive to ship and castrol edge is always on sale at supercheap Genuine oil filters from the dealer are only $11, cheaper than a Ryco filter Spark plugs and air filter. you generally dont do these very often so i would just keep a lookout on the next sale if i need non service parts i always purchase parts from schmiedmann. order on a monday. parts are here by friday |

Agreed on getting the service parts locally.
I always go FCP euro for hard to get oem parts, the shipping prices are very reasonable.
