Bimmerfest East Coast 1er Megathread [let's meet and cruise!]

Bimmerfest East 2017 is just around the corner! I thought I'd post up here to see how many 1er's we can get to meet there and maybe cruise in from various locations.

I'm not really sure where to post this to get the most exposure - so once we get the cruise details ironed out I'll post this in some other BMW forums as well, if anyone wants to share/invite others, please do!

Bimmerfest Details:
When: July 28-29th
Where: Raceway Park - Englishtown, NJ
What: ALL OF THE BIMMERS

Cruise Details:
When: July 27th-29th
Where: Checkpoints on I-95 North and I-95 South
What: All BMW folk meeting at checkpoints at predetermined times

I'll be organizing a cruise starting in the DC area on the evening of the 27th or morning of the 28th (whichever has more interest) and heading North along I-95 to NJ. If anyone wants to expand the cruise by dates or location, feel free to set it up!!

DC Meetup Point - Ikea of College Park [Right off 95 and big lot with a Shell station next door]
MD meetup spot #1 - Wawa in Joppa, MD [Right off 95, food/gas available and decent sized lot]
MD meetup #2 - Chesapeake House [big rest area]
NJ meetup #1 - John Fenwick Service Area [big rest area]
NJ meetup #2 - James Fenimore Cooper Service Area [big rest area]
Final Destination - Raceway Park, Englishtown NJ

Ah wish I could make the road trip up! No way though considering I'd only have a few weeks to make arrangements. Maybe next year, but looking forward to the photos!

is anyone planning on staying overnight for both days at bimmerfest? If so, should be plan a cruise back to MD from NJ for those starting in the MD area?

I will be there for both days, but likely heading farther up north afterwards.

There is a cruise starting at AutoNuovo in Holliston and the 1st stop is in Charlton which is where we'll likely join up.

Do you guys have a preference of either Thursday evening or Friday morning to drive up??
