M bumper coupe E82 fit on E81?
Hi guys, I'm new. My name is Daniele and I'm from Italy. I read the 3d of this forum about some months, now I decide to subscribe to explain my problem.
First sorry for my English I have 1er 120D E81 and some week ago I decide to buy the M front bumper of E82 coupè. The original front bumper have the light washer and no PDC. So, anybody has this bumper mounted on a E81 that can provide me the exact codes I need? There are problems for the installation of air duct brakes? Some people in Italy have already done this work and is feasible, but that no specific components required. Please guy help me, I promise I'll post the entire guide assembly for this operation, thanks! |

Hi Daniele,
You can find all part numbers on http://realoem.com I've not seen an E81 with the M Sport E82 front end on it before, but that doesn't mean it isn't a direct swap. Good luck, and post pictures please! |

It should fit without problems! Someone here in Belgium did it to his E81. I talked to him a while ago because I was going to sell my front bumper to buy the performance one, but he had already ordered all the parts at BMW. No modifications needed to put this bumper on the E81! Don't know about the brake ducts though...

Hi. No need to buy front bumper carrier. You must buy the wheelarch trim, part number 51118045961 and 51118045962. You need also the underbonnet screen, part no. 51758046495. |

Yes, the E87 and E81 stock don't have air ducts, you must buy air ducts for E82 if you have fit the coupè bumper. Also, remember is necessary a new air duct for the intercooler.
Guys, if you don't understand italian you can go here http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/ and check by part number. |
