why no answer to simple question ?

I am just amazed that I asked a simple question in this forum - does the driver seat in the 125/128i convertible recline all the way to the back seat - and out of 15replies I get only one guy that gave me an answer - couldn't you others guys simply go to your cars and see if your driver seat reclines all the way back and let me know. Surely this is not too much to ask from fellow owners !!

I never saw your original post, but why is the seat-reclining important?

You have had 3 or 4 answers to your 3 or 4 posts and thread hijack comments in other posts. What is your problem anyway?

NO - THE SEATS DO NOT RECLINE ALLTHE WAY FLAT. WHERE DID YOU EVER GET THE IDEA THAT THEY SHOULD? MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A PICKUP TRUCK AND A FOAM MATRESS?

+1.

The first post in the thread (my post) answered your question wholly and completely. What does the rest matter? This is a forum, not a daycare center where everyone has to play nice. I think someone has a full diaper.

So that on a cool summer night I can lie back and gaze at the stars at the beach with the hood down with my favourite gal or simply to take a power nap lying back on a long trip. All my previous Japanese cars reclined all the way back and I assumed this was normal in all cars. This is my first BMW and expected the same but was concerned that the seat was defective as it does not. Kindly chek your seat for full recline and l would be appreciative for your response. Thanks

Is this a forum where fellow BMW owners share info or where verbal abuse is thrown around esp to Newbies ?

Better question...is this a forum where everyone disregards information easily accessible through a little effort and creates a thread every time the traction control light blinks or an ever expanding resource for 1 owners (when properly used)?

If a fully reclining seat was that important to you then why didn't you check it out on a lot car before you bought it?

I think about to setup some paid service, you have question, you pay a small fee and get an accurate answer. What do you think?

When you ask question you need also specify what country specification your car is.

Tsk Tsk. What is this forum coming to?

I looked at all the negative comments and am simply appalled at everyone's behaviour.

So what, this guy's a noob, never had a BMW, asked a dumb question in your eyes. By stooping so low as to post insulting comments like these, afraid to say it but says a lot about yourself too. Give this poor guy a break.

Thread not worth your time? Too dumb for you? Let it die and let it be.

I think the problem is that he keeps asking the same question that has been answered numerous times, compounded with the fact that he is now becoming quite hostile for some apparent reason.
