I would have either bought out the lease on my '05 STI, or been in an '09 STI or '09 370z. I might have even considered the new Camaro but ultimately it's too big of a car for my tastes. No other BMWs interest me short of an M3 which I really can't afford right now.

Camaro SS, G37, or 370z... The new mustang with the 5.0 will be sweet too when it comes out.

.....The 1er is soon to be gone being replaced by an S2000 and a pick up truck.
I just miss high rpm and I'm not pushing the car to it's limit on the track since I can't afford to crash it. An AP1 will do the job.
Also the 135 is too fast for the street I honestly hit the speed limiter everytime I take it...I have to do it at least once a day I call that leg stretching. The truck will tone me down a lot and I will drive under the speed limit since they're so bouncy.

If BMW, then a 3 series (still)

otherwise, probably an Audi... then again, I guess that means I'd be working there too!

The 1-series was the one that piqued my interest in BMW in the first place, so without it, I doubt I'd have become interested in the marque.

I'd probably be in a Jetta, GTI, or Audi A3 or something along those lines. Maybe a MINI Cooper S, although I'm not really that big on the retro styling in the interior. Those are the ones I test-drove prior to that fateful day when I said to myself, "Hmm. 1-series. Maybe I'll go check that out."

Maybe a Lexus IS250. Never bothered test-driving that one, because I was sold on the 1er after the test-drive.

I would've bought the 2009 A3 3.2 S-line that I was about to put the down payment on back in August.

If the 1 series didn't exist I would have picked up a late model Z4 roadster in black.

If BMW didn't exist at all I don't know what I would have bought considering I came from an E46 BMW.

Even so, I would probably be looking at either a 370z, TTS, Boxster S and maybe the SLK.

I woulda kept my 2006 Cooper S. Still miss that car, some days. I like the 135 alot better, but the 'S was still a fun little car.
