yay
depends though on the colour of your car; some will suffer... mine is black so... I live in canada, so there is gravel on the road pretty much all the time; you don't want that on your paint... they DO make the car look squat, and they ARE cheap.. so yeah, judge it by location/colour. I though I had pictures of them on my car, but they're from before I put them on, PM if you're really on the fence and a picture will help you

Those of you that live in areas where there isn't weather have the luxury of your car staying clean for days, maybe weeks. Around here (Chicago area) you can detail your car and within a day or 2 there is crap thrown on the lower parts of the car. Mudflaps and a clean car? Hell Yeah! |

Didn't like the mud flaps.. but my rear fenders took a beating after 5k so i got the 3M tape.. so after 5k I noticed the 3M was taking a beating, turning this hazel look that was not washable. soo I settled for these for the winter..

I'll buy some and then I'll be the first one to post, how about that?
I live in Upper State New York, by the way. We haven't had snow in a few months but October is coming up soon? Gotta get ready for the harsh winter. |

Very Alfisti looking...thinking...milano verde...but no, it's a BWM? I think if you live in an area where gravel is being thrown, it makes sense. Rock chips are bad. What about 3M clear? My old Lotus had it pretty much over the entire lower body...expensive, but less pricey than a re-spray...and the dirt hoses right off...

There are several photos of mudflaps on a AW in the do it yourself section. I like the look and have front and rear sets on order.
Not sure I have the link to that post copied correctly.... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=222204

It is not a matter you like or not, mud flap is a must if you want some protection for the paint. You will get use to the look and glad you get it.

The 1 mudflaps aren't the best made. My flaps have some funky flashing that shouldn't be there on a BMW product that will go on the exterior of a BMW. But, I bought them for their utility, MUCH more so than for their look. I don't think anyone buys mudguards for the look. They buy them for the protection, so they don't have to do what you did. |
