puncture after 150 miles
Just got the car last week.135msport coupe, rear puncture on 245/35 18.BMW say they dont repair,price for new tyre £275.!!!! Some tyre places will repair but then ave to reset dash warning- price for repair £20-Which would you choose????

get it plugged... a nail punctured my runflat and i took it to bmw, the guy plugged it for free. I told him i thought they only replaced them, and he said he always plugs the runflats, and that the whole replacing the whole tire for a small hole is a marketing ploy to get more money. Also, he said that he has never had someone come back with a flat

I'd have it repaired. On the US cars you can reset the dash warning yourself, but we may have a different tire pressure monitoring system than you do. I'd check the manual and see if you can just reset it yourself.

Don't plug it, Patch it from inside the tire.. I did it on couple BMW and it is fine.

I hope they used a patch with a mushroom head or a plug with integral patch, both installed from the inside. It is more work but has a much better chance of working. It is very quick and easy to ream out the hole and install a patch from outside but you can't inspect the inside for damage doing this and it is less likely to hold. Especially with an expensive tire, you want to get the best odds possible on the repair.
