Yorkshire Dales

A great drive into the Dales this weekend. Its been a long time since i have had the desire to just go for a drive to know where in particular. Its normally the Ducati when that urge takes me.
How many of you guys actually get into your 1M's just for a rip?

Nice photo! I've always got the urge to go for a drive but unfortunately don't have roads like that very near me. If i did, think my wife and kids would never see me

That's why we hang out for Tour De Wales M style and the IOM M blast

Other than that it is gridlock gridlock gridlock 40mins a mile .....I do on occasions get out at 1am for a blast around Buckingham Palace

Nice snap

I took my car for an extended drive over the weekend. Nothing too fancy, just out in the countryside to try and put a few miles on my new tyres to "scrub them in a bit".

I've owned Caterhams and Lotus' in the past which are truly great drivers cars, but I have to say that the 1M is up there for fun. I had a great time hooning it around the lanes

I actually appreciate bad weather, makes driving that bit more challenging and fun.

Nothing beats a thunderstorm and driving around the mountains in the middle of the night, with no mobile phone reception.

That's what I call a free spirit! Any chance you have roots going back to Transilvania?

Nice. The closest I came to the Dales this weekend is watching a boxed set of 'Last of the Summer Wine'.

Hopefully you didn't run into Tom & Smyler from Auntie Wainright's Bric-a-Brac store delivering furniture goods in a handcart on the local roads.

I was thinking more of Tubbs and Edward from Royston-Vassey...

I like a good blast now and then, took a huge detour across the Peaks on Sunday on way back from Liverpool, ragged around even with my bike strapped to the roof! (Thanks H!).

Only trouble is finding decent roads without much traffic and speed cameras...

I'd be up for that. You ever free mid week during the day? Much as I like ragging around in the dark its always good to do these things in day light.

Have a set of nights coming up first week of Dec?

Lets get a mini trip organised for early next year, I know Hetan would be up for it.
I want to have a bit of highland action as well!

I'm in for that let's get a thread going and organise for a nice spring blast!
