reduce engine speed?

I'm getting the reduce engine speed symbol. only when I push my car on wot but when I turn off the car and remove the key for a couple seconds it goes away never cones back up again. unless I go WOT and then again the same thing remove key so that the symbol goes away . I also hear a loud rattle , clanking noise under the car when I rev it in neutral. is it the wastegate? I my car is stock I do have a cobb V3 but it's unmarried since October. can I read the codes with the Cobb? What can it be?

I don't know what the rattle is. Could be wastegate, but who knows for sure? Do you have a video or sound clip? Also, I wouldn't go WOT for some time then just shut off the engine. You have to drive easy to cool it down for a while before shutting down.

The rattle at neutral is most likely the wastegate issue. As far as the engine speed symbol, there's not enough information to make a definitive guess.
