People, if you don't have photoshop and you want to stay in the legal zone, try Gimp! It is open source and it is very close to photoshop capabilities. This should not be consider avertising since it is a free product, and really, I've seen people do miracles with it!

Edit: And it is lighter to the OS too.

I know pros working with Gimp, though your needs to make a pretty simulation of what you want the tail-lghts to look like, can be fully covered by Gimp. Considering it is a very active project for some years now, and that it is a combo effort of all the open-source community, can't be that bad. Till now I have created more than 30 project posters for my job leaving the supervisor gagging (and yes, i'm not a graphix designer, but I'm very artistic in nature ).

Looks good. But I think it'll be a very long time before something like this becomes as common and as good as PS. Its currently the standard, and a very good one at that (if you ignore its pricetag).

Yeap, Gimp is not as common as PS, but think about it, how many of the capabilities are you using in PS? Since Gimp is doing what I want in image manipulation I guess it is a no brainer considering the price tag too. I just don't like to own pirated software that does a million things and I'm using the basic 50!

Kudos to all!

Learn some of the nice things you can do with PS.

Not sure is Phong still does his thing, but he used to have some nice looking tutorials: www.phong.com

Whooooaa!

The "5er" lights on a 3-series looks just awsome...

I wish the designers could have come up with something a little bit better (eventhough I´m starting to get use to them..)

: )
