Not sure if you're still interested in one, but I talked them wayyyy down on it too. $0 down (not even inception dues out-of-pocket), $420.00/month on the "Sign THEN Drive" program. Plus they paid our last Jeep payment of $317.37 AND the first lease payment on the Tiguan. This one is a 2010 SE with 4Motion and the mat kit. 39 month lease with 10k miles/year. All standard options beyond that.

Fox in Rochester. Seriously the best VW dealer in town for both sales and service (and no, they're not paying me to say that! ). Let me know if you want me to give the sales girl we worked with a call. The "Sign THEN Drive" deal goes 'til month-end. I'm sure they'd hook up the same deal.

Hey fellow Michigan 1ers, how are you liking your car during this weather even with snow tires?
I really wish BMW would have given us a true limited slip diff and not limit it to just the "M" cars. -Jeff

Here's why: I got my "P3 Vent Integrated Boost Gauge" yesterday, installed it today and decided to go out for a few runs to check it out... Needless to say, with the traction control off, they were quite eventful. Running stock boost, I could floor it to the point of "kickdown mode" <INSERT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION JOKE HERE> and it would barely hold on... The second it dumped a gear, it would break the tires loose for a second and then start to grip. Same thing, but on Map 3 it would tear them loose for a second or two and then eventually grab. Once again, but on Map 5, the car would simply shred the tires and go sideways... Which involved a little bit of that "driving" stuff. At this point, I didn't even bother with Map 7 (which is what I used to make some VERY impressive power on the Speed Industry dyno). Mind you, all of this is going in a straight line! Add in a corner and the thing will decimate the tires on stock boost, let alone anything higher. Don't get me wrong, this type of thing is a lot of fun... But not when you want to make winter tires last. Needless to say, my car will be running stock boost 'til spring... At which point I'll be adding an LSD! For those that care, here's a pic of the boost gauge:

^ That's the best looking aftermarket gauge and location execution! ^
Edit: BTW, Jason, I like the way you have modded your 1, it is very tasteful but one serious diablo of a ride!

Thanks, guys, I really appreciate it!
There are a few things that should be coming from cp-e prior to Spring that'll REALLY change things up with the car power-wise. If anyone wants to take a ride or drive it, let me know. You're welcome to it.

For Sale: cp-e™ Cat Back Exhaust
SOLD, SOLD, SOLD!
Happy New Year, everyone! Just wanted to give the locals a heads-up that I'll be selling my current cp-e exhaust for a slightly different setup (still cp-e, but it'll be 'changed up' a bit). I thought I had a deal worked out where this was already sold, but unfortunately it fell through... So if anyone is interested, hit me up via PM. For reference, my current setup has non-resonated midpipes with polished, straight-cut, staggered tips. Also, the entire axleback section has been sprayed and baked in high-temperature black coating (there are some light chips on it now, but not noticeable unless you get on the ground and look at it). My reason for switching is all spelled out HERE. For those that would want to check it out, I'd be willing to meet up someplace and take you for a ride both on and off the expressway. Availability would be within 30 days. Although, if someone's interested, I'd push to have it off of the car much sooner than that. Here are a few pics for reference: (Click for larger version(s))

If we were getting an appropriate Michigan winter (similarly to what DC just got), I'd have to disagree... But since we're not, I to am ready for the sticky tires to be mounted again!

Glad to have you, man! And congrats on the order! Which black did you get on the exterior? And what about interior and trim colors?

Hello fellow 1'ers,
It's been a long time contributing to the thread. I just want to share my track day experiences I had several weeks ago. Here's the link. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=420825 The automotive industry has kept me working too many long hours to participate in any events and this thread...I hope all is well! Regarding rubbing: I'd definitely shoot to dial in more negative camber in the rear. The height looks fine and stiffening things up too much could make the car less compliant at times. Just my $.02
