TPMS Connection?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but my searches aren't getting any hits.

So I'm about to pull the trigger on a wheel/tire set at tirerack with the tpms pre-installed.

My question is how do I disconnect/connect the tpms system?

Thanks for any responses!

Just change the wheels and viola it works. I also went ahead and hit the reset button on the dash computer controls - just scroll through the screens until you see the tire warning symbol and press and hold the button in on the stalk for a couple of seconds. I did mine last weekend - no problem. Great tires and service from TireRack by the way; I've been very happy.

Thanks.

I've had to reset the tpms several times during cold weather, so I'm good there. Maybe thats why my search returned no results - you don't do anything lol.

Thanks again for the help!

Correct. You need to do nothing.

What are you looking to get?

Looks like it's all in stock. Give me a call when you're ready. I'd be happy to set it up for you.

Gill set me up with tires + TMPS sensors. I haven't put them on the car yet, but I expect it to go trouble free when I do.

New shoes on the way!

Thanks for putting up with my requests to read back the order to me Gil - I'm a little OCD like that. And let me say as a developer that the tirerack.com site is very done.

Just finished putting them on - wow the black wheels and black top really compliment the titanium silver.

Good shopping experience, timely delivery, and quality workmanship. A++ Tire Rack!
