BMW 135is Review from CNET

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Good little review with some history from CNET. For those not familiar, CNET is a mostly tech blog. Most of their car reviews focus on in-car technology. This review mixes a little of both.

Quote:
The 2013 BMW 135is has a lineage that goes back over 40 years to the original BMW 320i of the 1970s. CNET's Brian Cooley shows you how the Bavarian automaker keeps the spirit of the original alive with some new ideas added in.

Hmm... This would be like Car and Driver reviewing the latest Intel or AMD multicore processors.

That said, it's a nice review.

I have seen many reviews by this guy and his sense of humor is ....
Sometimes he is funny but other times he is a complete dick.

My first reaction is that BMW is still producing the 1 series ?

I like Brian and his reviews, however IF he had truly turned off traction completely, the car would have handed him his ass!

Someone in my parking garage just purchased a 2013 Blue 135is convertable w/the DCT. Beautiful car but I was disappointed to see the automatic shifter on the floor. None-the-less, I love the "is" wheels. Aggressive, Simple, Beautiful.

Car is amazing etc but I'm sorry paying that much for something like that is too much. You can get an e92 m3 with almost no miles and a winter beater and still take your girl to dinner. Lol Too much for a tiny little thing.

CNET has been doing car reviews for quite a while actually.

Problem is he's using just the MSRP, but most people (myself included) are paying $4-5k under that.

I agree with the reviewer. Also, his option selections are spot on for my taste. He certainly couldn't be more right about the premium package being a waste of good money.

And is now gone as they're probably not making anymore, so weird to review at the end of production.

Not true. You can actually still order one for a few more months.
