Phobics 135i Build Thread
Ive been customizing cars for about 6 years now and bought my BMW so I wouldnt have to waste money customizing a car... sadly, I can't just leave well enough alone so here I am...
Enjoy the thread, let me know what you think. Suggestions are always welcome! Here is the day I brought her home, you all know what a stock 135 looks like: first mod was wheels thanks to a pot hole on the highway: Last edited by phobic; 07-24-2013 at 07:11 PM.. |

Customizing of the wheels:
fitment is right on, but it did cause some rubbing on large dips and bumps: but I dont really like the silver wheels so they needed some love: so now they're black: |

back on stocks while the wheels get finished... oh and there might be some other pieces missing...
Here are some shots after the fenders were rolled and pulled a bit: Also had to get rid of those damn license plate holes and fix up those scrapes: |

My body shop guy surprised me with this:
color matched calipers with a black BMW: oh, and they glow in the dark thanks to a glow in the dark pearl he had: |

Yeah, I cant wait till it's all together.
If schmiedmanns wasn't closed, they'd already be ordered and probably installed haha. Quote:
personally I've never been a huge fan of black wheels because they kind of get lost and aren't as pronounced as other colors, but on this car they work really well IMO.

Looks great man! Bring it to the Torque Meet Tour on August 24th. It's free! It's going to be held at our Norwood, MA campus.
