Can't wait to see the car with the FI's

Are you planning any 0-60 and 60-130 vbox runs? Would love to see what a stroked s65 can make a 1m do, again, awesome build!

Love this build and love the detail. I got all kinds of crap and weird looks when I was adamant about the stickers being on my replacement windshield. Those details matter!

My first question so far is about the donor engine. Did you just find one that had that many miles or were you specifically looking for one with lower miles? I'd think with all the engine work you were doing the mileage didn't matter much, but I have no idea

Gotta give props. I know there have been other 1M conversions and S65 engine swaps but the attention to the details and the fact that everything is OEM needs a huge mention. Can't wait to see the final product!

This is the type of build that inspires people to do things correctly; I can't tell you how often the term 'build' gets thrown around and it's quite rare for it to truly apply, even a tenth as much as it does here. Well done, can't wait to see the end result!

I don't have anything specific set up at this point (no Vbox either) but I will be taking this to the local tracks. I do have an Aim Solo DL so I know I can get some of that info.

Thanks! The team working on it takes a lot of pride in the work and it shows. As for the engine, that was happenstance mostly. I was looking for a complete donor car that had been hit in the rear and could still run drive to make sure we could use all the parts we needed with minimum risk of damaged components. Had it been hit in the front, more likely for drive train damage, etc... Also, the stroker was no where near finalized at the point the donor was picked up. It was entirely possible the stock s65 was going to be in the car at that point.

Yeah I truly cannot say enough about the team's skills and desire for perfection. You can clearly see it in the build and I can only hope it comes through in the pictures.

Yeah, when we first started batting this idea around it was OEM, factory tools, factory procedures or bust. You can certainly make a car that looks and sounds the same from a distance for far less time and effort but the quality of the work done here really shows through when you get up close and it looks genuinely factory.

Same here. I have had a lot of M cars over the years and my hope is we have just combined all the best features of several of them into one chassis!
