I would also like to see better and better quality pics including a daylight pic in direct sunlight before I even take these into consideration. |

what's the difference between these and LUX H8? does 1 series LUX have 4 LEDs as well? I'm waiting for daytime pictures before I jump on this although group buy for Alpine HIDs is very tempting.

Hmm, tough call. These are obviously easier to install than the HIDs. I would still go with those, but these may be a great alternative - especially if they work well during the day.
A group buy may be in order though. |

I have the Weislight AugenWeis and they look pretty much the same as these and have 2 led's in each unit.

I am going to hold off on all comments until I install and see for myself. One thing of note, plug and play is a whole lot better IMO than cutting/notching. Trust me this is coming from the person who actually did the HIDs w/ a DIY and people questioning the seal. I am not knocking HIDs because they are by far the brightest AE I have ever own. I have too many AE at home to count. I think even Alex-Alpine would agree that the HIDs ring distribution could be better to the outter ring. Quote:
I am hoping to do a side by side with the following combination: LUX/Brex LUX/DTEC LUX/GP Thunders LUX/MTEC LUX/HIDs All taken with an above par DSLR with a tripod. from the same view. (Have this done by the weekend) Last edited by Simon_135i; 03-10-2010 at 09:04 AM.. |

I'm really interested in seeing/hearing about what you think of the LUX compared to the HIDs...although the other comparisons would be interesting too.

If anybody is looking for pictures of a lux comparo to stock and Alpine HIDs look at the 4th page of this thread.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=alpine&page=4 A guy at our latest meet had lux rings and he was behind me for about 20 minutes and I can tell you that these things are visible and look damn good in direct sunlight. I plan on ordering myself a pair soon. |
