Okay, I posted some relevant info and attached the registration form etc. Hopefully you guys can spread the word too. They want classic cars, exotics, modern sports cars etc. I know our 1ers don't fit the definition of sports car but from the email it doesn't seem to be an issue.

Jeebus! I did want to do this. That price is a little steep. I just wanted to cruise and meet people. Looks like this won't be happening for me. I guess that's how you keep the exotic cars coming. If you can afford an exotic, you can afford the entry price.

I'm still interested. It sounds really fun! Do you know what the situation with spectators would be? I know if I put in $200 to do it, my girlfriend and I would be driving, but her family would want to be there as well. They wouldn't have tickets for the meals obviously, but could they come to watch? This is still something I'm very interested in.

Keep in mind though that the check is written directly to the MS Society. You could deduct it from your taxes. It's less an entry fee and more a charitable donation which allows you to enter a a fun event.

I don't know. It's on public roads with checkpoints so I could see watching the start and finish but not really much to see otherwise. I believe they are looking for volunteers to help with the event though if anyone wants to do that. You could contact them by email through the website. Considering your gf's mother has MS they might be willing to do something special for them. I'm not affiliated though so I don't know. I would just contact them and let them know your situation, see what they say.
