Curious what suspension setup you have on your car? The drop seems perfect.

count on one can of desired color for each wheel, and a can or two of gloss for all 4, depending on how glossy you want them.
The white dipped 1 looks awesome. under my blue is AW, so eventually i think im gonna do pearl white and keep it long term. I love the fact that the dip is protecting the paint beneath it.

The dip holds up better than i expected it would. It's been on for about 3 months, i sprayed it on at the end of july if i recall correctly. I mixed 3 gallons of dip with 1 gallon of pearlizer into a bucket a long with some custom tinting and used just over 3/4 of that, leaving me with just over a half a gallon of left over dip for touching up(just in case). My car is daily driven regardless of weather conditions and garage kept when not in use. It does sit in the weather on days where i work or have school. The dip isn't peeling up anyplace besides the inside of the door handles, and that's mostly because of their constant use. It isn't visible what so ever and is only pulling up about a quarter inch. The inner part of the wheel wells that is body colored is also dipped and is probably the most worn part(duh). It's peeling back a bit on the verrryy bottom, about an inch of the paint is exposed here but it doesn't bother me much. I have cleaned the car literally one time since i dipped it.. I've hosed it down a few times to get dust and dirt off, but only one full thorough hand wash. The color surprisingly hides dirt very well and water and loose debris usually just flows right off of it. Cleaning it is honestly a bit more time consuming than the factory paint since it takes a bit more effort to, for lack of better words, scrub the dip. With that being said, i did notice the color was a bit brighter when cleaned, and the dip washer was pretty filthy when i was done regardless of the 2 bucket method. I plan on either dipping it another color in the spring, or peeling it and rocking the factory paint again for a while.. Regardless i'm going to continue to dip my car for the winter. I'm positive the dip is keeping many rock chips, scratches, swirls, marring, or bird sh!t from messing up the factory paint and the color change is just a fun bonus for me. I'd definitely recommend it to those who are not faint hearted.. it's scary to spray tool handle coating onto your car, especially your BMW. However, once you spray on the first few coats you'll see how well the Plasti dip really coats and dry's and feel much better about it. The only thing that's really a pain in my ass about the dip is that i got overspray on everything in my garage (noob mistake) and getting the little bit of dip out of the door jams and weird little places is truly going to suck. I'll update whenever i peel on how that goes edit: and yes, i did it myself with the help of 1 buddy for masking. Total time committed: 1.5 hours of masking (windsheild, windows, rear window, sunroof, headlights, kidney's, lower grills, foglights, brake lights, third brake light, mirrors and wheels), 5 hours of spraying the dip while taking my sweet time and giving it 15 minute drying periods between coats. I'm sure i can cut the total time down to about 5 hours for the entire masking and spraying process. Also don't forget to drive the car up on a rag/paper/some sort of protection to keep all the dip from getting on your cement floor like me.

Amber Gone!
So I had a can of Smoke Plasti Dip lying around and decided to put it to use. I had already done the side markers, so I tried to do my own Amber Gone
It came out pretty good IMO. You just mask (with vinyl or flexible tape) and spray away as you normally would plasti dip anything else. But before the last layer dries up you pull away the tape from the headlight. TIP: Do this carefully, if you pull the masking surrounding the headlight the clean up will be a little less friendly.
