Nice numbers. Hope they have some alternative maps that have nicer torque delivery... this looks like a lot of trouble on a track =\

Is the FMIC gonna be required?? I have Catless downpipes and full turbo back exhaust already and have been waiting (not so patiently) for stage 2. I dont really want to have to get a FMIC right now too.

It's whp considering the normal 10% drivetrain loss it's about 430-440 crank or 100 more than the 1M. Please educate yourself a bit before criticizing a product.

I know this is just a beta tune right now, but what's crazy is he's hitting 18psi on 93 pump gas. I cant wait till this and ATR is released. |

I keep seeing "FBO" on this forum, what does it mean?

Full Bolt-Ons.
Though, I'm less than 100% clear on whether people all mean the same bolt-ons. I consider having: 1. FMIC 2. Exhaust (high flow or catless DPs + midpipes) 3. Intake (CAI or DCI) as "FBO" did I miss a mod?

Spot on you can add charge pipe and BOV/DV's but it's not really necessary unless the stock DV's are failing or you like the sound of a BOV.

assuming 15% drivetrain loss we're looking at ~470hp and ~530tq at the crank... holy sh!t

no requirements for stage 2 have yet been released... at the very least Cobb will require turbo back exhaust (usually the case for stage 2 Cobb on other platforms). I think stage 2 might be FMIC, TBE, and DCI... there was also some chatter about a stage 1+ map (FMIC)... stage 2 might also just be FMIC and TBE. Who knows... it's all speculation at this point.

IMHO an FMIC is just as important as turboback especially in a stage 2 tune. If you think about how hot that charge air is gonna be at a 15-18psi (speculating) stage 2 tune and the fact that the stock IC is designed to be efficient at 8.8psi. You might be pushing 18psi on the stage two tune, but the thing about turbo's is it's not just about psi it's about air density and we all know cooler air is denser. That's why with all things equal an upgraded turbo can make equal power @ say 12psi to a stock turbo @ 16psi.

That is just sick! Getting my FMIC upgrade Friday I am not going to track my car but I assume if you are you'll need an oil cooling system upgrade or additional system on the driver side. May need to upgrade my subframe bushings or move to M suspension parts.
