Stage 2 Dyno guess
Gentlemen,
I have one general question and it pertains to the Stage 2 tune that I will be getting at SoloMotorsports in GA this Friday. I have searched the forums and YouTube looking for the "conservative" numbers on a FBO 135i N54. Yes I'm aware of the slew of variables that go into these numbers. All I can give is the variables I will have and I'm looking for a guess. I will update this on Friday after the tune to see who got the closest to the wheel numbers. Variables are listed below. 08 N54 89,000 miles 93 degrees 93 pump gas Mustang Dyno custom stage 2 tune DCI catless downpipes charge pipe, turbosmart valve AA sport Intercooler BMR 3.5" single exhaust ER oil cooler

Assuming 93 octane no E85. FBO on a mustang dyno in 93 degree weather...379 WHP 404 WTQ. Mustang dyno's typically read lower than others.

You are correct sir I will be running 93 pump gas, no meth or E85. I added that to the first post.

Mustang dynos are completely useless unless you do a before after set to measure gain. On the same day.
If you want a measure of power and torque to compare to others cars, use a Dynojet ONLY. No way to anticipate what you'll get and it won't mean anything without a baseline figure. Probably not what you want to hear.

Thank you for the responses guys. At the end of the day my expectations are not high. If my car barely makes 330 whp I will be content knowing it made that on a mustang dyno.
