Talking Doerr Motorsport 135i-Enjoy!

I am not sure if anyone has posted or seen this video, but its on vimeo. Here is the following link:

Also here is the link to the actual website of mentioned tuner: http://www.doerr-motorsport.de/ . I cannot understand German, but if any of you do, please fill me in with a summarized translation of what they have done to this car, it looks pretty sick! Enjoy!

also....

-in order to save that 100 Kgs they replaced the: hood, truck side skirts and nose pannel with light weight plastic peices! (me thinks the new M1 will not have any of this!)

-different ABS and DSC racing system
- three levels of street trim.
- prices start at: 58K, 70K and 80K EUROS!!! Don't forget a standard 135i cost "only"
40K over here!!! That makes the US models look down right CHEAP!
- Evo cars take four to six weeks to build to custmer's specs. You have the money they
will build it!
- Shop is located near Frankfurt area.

Btw... this show is on Kabel-Eins every week. They do a lot of docu shows and have interesting stuff on thier car show "Abenteuer Auto". You can watch more videos of the show here>>>

http://www.kabeleins.de/auto/videos/

Btw-II... I think there are plenty of guys here, running more power then this car!

You can have upgraded turbos but that still won't get you around The Ring in under 8 mins... It's impossible to comment about the price without knowing what you get in that 80k package. Although I completely agree that 80k is way, way too much.

For 80K EUROS there is no way in hell I'd buy a 1 series. That's like $140K !!

Under 8 min for a N lap takes more than the car! Skills and balls are the biggest time factors.

Yeah, my boy did around 8mins in both his EVO VIII and Sti. He ended up totaling his EVO on Wippermann tho.

Talking about 80k EUROS - that's how much an E92 M3 (without DCT, EDC, M drive) costs in Europe... Now you know why we envy you guys in the USA so much

Totally agree on a N lap... But you have to compare those numbers corresponding to professional drivers.

I wonder what the 135i with the massive rear wing is about. Did anybody else see it in the background?
