Great day fellas. Total success in my books and the car behaved very nicely. Only some slightly squigy brakes about 2/3 way through. I could have kept going on them but decided to wait it out so I could go harder in later sessions. No limp modes or CEL from the car, but the tranny did go into S+ mode itself (from fully M). I assume it was just being worked a bit too hard.
Of the laps I did record, my best times were 1.55.39, 1.55.42, and numerous 1.56.xx/1.57.xx V-maxes were 228km/h, 227, 226, 225 |

Great day Clinton and very well organised with the marshals and driving instructors..( and eye candy.. )
Thanks again to you and Advan Performance for organising. The 1M was superb on the track.. had a much better feel IMO that the E92 M3 I drove in the last track day last month. No brake fade or overheating issues whats so ever.. And amazingly, No tyre scrub, if any probably minimal, but nothing obvious. And special thanks for my new Ferrari for "best and fairest"... |

Well, I have no problems with sooner. Today saw a bunch of people that have limited knowledge of each other (and maybe their own vehicles and track) keep it a fairly mature, safe and overall fun (poor bloke with the falcon turbo excluded) day!!
Maybe us Sydney folk can do alternate months of wsid and trackdays to keep it interesting? |

Aye should have said hi! I was out there with Simon AKA the FatMan. He had the black 993 but had a tyre issue so we had to cut the day short and get creative to get home.
Pete will tell you they (the porka's) are just a VW beetle who's satnav heads East by default! |
