Interior Carbon Wrap.

I was messing around with some 3M carbon fibre and decided to wrap the centre dash and window controls. I have the templates as a 1:1 scale pdf if anyone wants.

This is great, I was thinking of doing this. Thanks for the templates. Are you planning to do the centre console (ashtray and the surrounding area) as well?

I'm thinking this should go in the weight reduction thread...

Looks good though.

Hence the to make it a joke.

By chance did you try to make it all one piece on the dash? I know there are 3 sections (A/C, Radio, blank at bottom) but to me it doesn't look seamless because of the different sections that have to meet up. Thanks much.

Beware of the sun 'n heat, as these could loosen up things someday, creating "the bubbled carbon fiber look".

Last summer I was in London and saw the sun. It rained 5 seconds later but I did see it! Off topic, but I hope all is well with all the chaos going around the city. Hide your cars!

Yeah there is some sun, not alot of sun but its there, generally hiding behind a lot of cloud lol, it is crazy over here though, 20 deg c heatwaves, I think its the lack if vitamin D that made the kids go crazy earlier in the week, even the seagulls were at it in Liverpool .........

Not as cheap as DIY wrapping, but if I were going for the CF interior look, the oCarbon is the best looking stuff IMHO:
