2013 BMW 128i - 6MT, M Sport, Slicktop, 28k miles
2013 BMW 128i M Sport 6MT 28k miles (may go up a bit) Carbon Black Metallic/Black Boston Leather VIN: WBAUP7C54DVU72429 The time has come for me to sell my 128i. I’ve owned it since new, when I did Euro Delivery in July 2013. I lightly optioned the car in order to achieve the “enthusiast spec” – only performance options (or lack thereof) were selected, with the exception of added leather. This is one of the last BMW’s with their famed, super smooth NA inline-six. Optioned with Carbon Black paint, which is usually an M-exclusive color but available in 2013 only with the M Sports Package. It’s been a part-time daily driver for me, but mostly kept around for weekends. Always garaged, kept away from bad weather and salt as much as possible. It’s not driven much in the winter, except on dry/clean roads on occasion to keep the juices active. When driven, I take care to let it warm up/cool down and park it far from others: I’m that guy in the very back of the parking lot. No rust whatsoever – not even surface corrosion on the mechanical systems when you look underneath/inside. I’ve maintained to exceed the BMW recommended schedule (I mostly follow Mike Miller’s list) to the best of my ability. Engine pulls hard and runs smooth like it should – always fed Top Tier premium fuel (usually Costco or QT). Complete records from when new will be included. It is still basically stock (see description below). Non-smoker, not tracked, and kept clean inside/out. Rear seats rarely used, passenger seat used only 50% of the time or less. Options: - 6 speed manual - black leather - M Sports Package (sports suspension, sports seats, M aero kit, Shadowline trim, M steering wheel and shifter, etc.) - manual seats - no sunroof (slicktop!) - no iDrive/navigation - N52 engine (not the CA-spec N51 SULEV) Modifications/Others: - CDV delete (Zeckhausen replacement unit), OEM unit will be included - Heatshield custom windshield cover (keeps the car up to 40 F cooler in the summer) - BMW warning triangle (Euro-spec) - BMW first aid kit (NA-spec) - Llumar tint on all windows (30%) – lifetime warranty - Bridgestone Potenza S04 Pole Position non-run flat tires (about 6/32” on the fronts, 8/32” on the rears which were bought new 2 months ago) - airbag recall completed recently (10/2017) - badge delete Flaws: - small scuff on the rear bumper (about 2” x 1”) - various rock chips here and there, mostly on the front bumper, from highway usage - minor curb rash on the right/rear wheel - small hair-line crack in the driver side mirror base (original thread here - it doesn't affect the function of the mirror, barely visible unless you are looking for it) Car is located primarily in Wichita, KS, but is frequently available in DFW, TX as well.
