Thanks for the Video.
Looks like the 135i can only be appreciated in person. I agree with that. I dont agree with the GTR having no soul. Thats like knowing the history of the BMW M3 and saying it has no soul. Pretty dumb comment knowing the GTR has an amazing history and it follows suit to this day. |

If the GTR was the ugliest car on the road I'd still drive it. That thing defies physics, it's absolutely astounding.
But I want my 135i first!

Never seen the show before. I've had more informed conversations about cars and motosport over beers with the boys. Glad they like the 1er, though.
Can't believe the bald guy drives a Mini. I'd have put him in a Camaro or a Hummer for sure...

Mr Angry and I must have been seperated at birth.
The GTR is an amazing car but I wouldn't drive one if it fell from the sky in to my driveway. Interior & exterior, butt ugly. It looks like it's been thrown together by a high school auto shop. The 1'er on the other hand, sooooooooooo nice.

I would purchase and drive the GTR in a heartbeat as I LOVE its heritage and I love the fact it can beat the socks off a Z06 and 911, while my wife can drive it to the store that afternoon. However, if I had the choice between GTR and M3, I would take the M3. The M3 has so many lovely angles. I only like the rear quarter angle on the GTR.
Maybe the V Spec will look a bit more agressive and appealing..... |

They lost me at the GTR...anyone who tells me that a Skyline GTR looks like a Maxima needs their vision checked. Maybe some slight commonality with the headlights but thats about it.

Can't see the vid from work but I'd take the GT-R over almost any car under runder 150k. Its not beautiful like an Aston Martin but neither is the 1. The 1 is better looking but the GT-R is a supercar, just happens to have a not so supercar price.
I'm actually glad the design is polarizing as I'm still holding out a slim hope that I can get a used one in a few years. I expect they will hold their value too well though. |

That Mr. Angry just needs to get a clue....
He tries to impose his misguided vision of beauty on everyone, not to mention his obvious envious disdain for such a capable supercar as the Nissan GT-R. Kudos to Nissan for making such a phenomenal car at such an affordable price. It makes the whole market stand up and take notice and work on producing better cars themselves, and we, the consumers, are the beneficiaries of this. Plus anyone looking to spend $70K or more on a sports car would be stupid not to at least consider the GT-R... But to say he wouldn't drive it if it landed in his driveway is downright asinine and very telling of his condescending opinionated drivel. No wonder he says he's Mr. Angry since his opinions he spews are pretty worthless. |

I sincerely hope you are right but I don’t think you are. Serious enthusiasts know about the GTR, it has a long history in Japan and other parts of the world it’s just new to the US and I think it will do very well here. Hopefully I’m wrong and I can pick on up in 3-4 years for $35k but I’m not holding my breath. Much better chance of getting a 1yr old 135 for $32-33k (well optioned).

The GT-R definitely should've been sold as an Infinity in the US.
