Yeah... Don't think you'll be able to retrofit the real one though... the Step transmission just doesn't work the same way...

Think i've seen it done on a E46 3 series, but requires wiring for the lights to work.

I got the performance selector lever as a warranty replacement of the original lever which was fading and recessing on the surface. I didn't know they were going to get the performance lever so it was a nice surprise. They look great, much better than trying to shoehorn in a DCT lever IMO.

I completely agree. I was there for some other issues but the SA saw the shifter issue and said he'd take care of it. I was impressed!
