No direct answers yet fellas, trust me had a quick talk with Dave today, they have some seriously good things in store for you guys, but until I'm given the ok, I can only release details as I'm approved to do so. So be patient! I know others havent been able to plunge forward with some serious power for the N54 but if I could tell you everything thats going on, you would be seriously amazed by the R&D effort that these guys are doing! So hang tight and get ready for some serious HP!

Anyone on our email list will be the first updated!

I know and please let me tell you every time I'm updated and given info I can release I feel like a school girl ready to tell you guys the scoop! I'm extremely excited for the N54 community but HPF does and will not produce a half ass product even if that means they aren't the first to the table, I think their E46 M3 product speaks for itself! Our E46 M3 customer that we installed their Stage 4 turbo kit made over 1000hp!!

Can we have some statistics as far as the HPF M3s out there? Such as number of customer cars per stage, miles accumulated to datew, issues arising, etc. HPF puts out insane numbers, but need to be sold on longevity.

Hey guys here is an update from Chris at HPF!

Any questions please shoot me a PM or email!

"I've been receiving a bunch a great questions via PM about how the HPF intercooler will work with our various stages of turbo systems. Here are some answers to those questions.

HPF FMIC Usage with factory piping

Those that are using our intercooler to boost the performance of their factory piping 135, 335 or 535 should use our FMIC with c-clip couplers. These intercoolers simply clip in as shown in the video on the first page of this thread.

HPF FMIC Usage with HPF Stage 1 Turbo System

The HPF stage 1 turbo system to be released in May includes our "end user tunable" engine management system (to be announced), HPF plug-n-play harness, HPF exhaust system, drop in air filter and the HPF FMIC with c-clip couplers. This kit is designed to maximize the stock twins potential while still retaining the factory IC piping. If you already have the FMIC with c-clip couplers then you can purchase the remaining stage 1 kit components separately when the kit is released.

HPF FMIC Usage with HPF Stage 2 Turbo System

The HPF stage 2 turbo system to be released this time next year will include all of the HPF stage 1 components "plus" our HPF intake manifold, HPF exhaust manifold with T4 flange for single turbo, A 67 series turbo, an aftermarket BOV (TBD), our HPF fuel rail and injectors, fuel pump, and new IC piping for the hot and cold side along with 5-ply silicon couplers and T-bolt clamps. For those that purchased the FMIC already in the earlier stage with the c-clip inlet and outlet flanges, they can simply ship it back to us and we will weld on the correct stage 2 inlet and outlet "beaded" flanges for free. For those going directly to stage 2 at this time, we will supply the intercooler with the correct stage 2 inlet and outlet flanges.

Anodizing

Anodizing is $100 extra. If you have any other questions, please call us directly at 813-949-3540 Ext 2 or email us at Parts@Lutzperfauto.net.

Here is a video showing some new info Chris had for us

"We received several questions from people interested in our 135/335/535 intercoolers about the ability of the factory quick disconnect hose connectors on the factory piping to hold boost pressure in excess of the factory levels. We tested this on our new intercoolers at boost pressures up to 20psi using a cut off of the factory IC pipe and the c-clip aluminum intercooler ends that are welded to our intercoolers. The video below shows the BMW IC connectors held like a champ"
