Seat Nets Part No?

I'm missing the seat nets. Can anyone find out the part number? My dealer says he needs to see a bulettin from BMW to install them, but I know it's standard and I should just get them. I'll have him look up the part number and order them, but he won't look it up for me

Thanks!

HAHAHAHA Ok, I'm so consumed with work, that I actually called the dealer with the part number, while puzzled over your J/K comment and why I would need Fleet to give me the number, since you got it already. HAHAHAHAHA The dealer freaked.

Garage List
Send an email to BMWUSA and tell them you don't have the nets. They should contact your dealer. You might mention the dealer's attitude too. I'm getting my nets installed tomorrow, and I have a great dealership.

All joking aside...I agree with the above 2 posts, it is outragous to have to deal with an attitude after your car came without something that SHOULD have been on it. They should be willing and apologetic.

Now back to the joking....... I am STILL laughing out loud, just picturing the dealer like "What is that part number sir? USE LESS? Huh?" LOLOLOL

Yeah, he asked me a couple of times, then he said it was not a valid part no., but meanwhile, I figured what the part no. actually was, so I just said I'll call back later. I guess he figured it out himself, but didn't really say anything. Ok, I'm sending that e-mail to BMWUSA.

Ok, I called BMWUSA. The representative was very polite. He said there was a shortage and when they come in, he will contact me and contact the damn dealer too. He'll send them over there and instruct him to install them. He apologized a million times, so I guess we're good. Thanks for all the help and the good laugh.

You can also tell you dealer to look at the bulletin "SIB 52 01 05 "

It explains everything and gives them the part numbers

BMW USA actually changed their mind to make them standard, but it was too late for early cars

They will retrofit them for free on early cars if the customer asks for them

Just tell them to look at the bulletin number i quoted above
