i have a question regarding exhaust for 128i, i am sure it has been asked.

will an axle-back exhaust for a 135i work on a 128i?

thanks

Conditional answer:
if you do a custom weld to the smaller diameter pipe to the resonator of a 128i

Yes. Cut the 128i exhaust off as close as you possibly can to the resonator, and then weld the 135i exhaust right at the resonator. This is a picture of my car with a stock 135i axelback. I can even put my stock exhaust back on if I please. I assume you could do the same with aftermarket 135i exhausts as well

They're real cheap, and they give a nice tone. Also larger piping and no restrictions in the muffler. Black tips look cool I too
