Looking forward for new tires!

Recently order sumitomos htr 3. I did not went with the hancooks due to the tirerack review. Changed them to 225/255 setup non run flat. First time I buy tires for my 2011 135. Great price, I live in PR and all the tire shops had tires way too expensive despite only stock size. By the way this is pot hole land, so I'll let you know how it went. Thanks for all the info, yes I did the search

I'm also considering these tires since they are offered in a XL version for the tire sizes I want. Please post and with your impressions before and after a break-in period.

V12s have plenty of decent reviews but I would like to know how these perform, the surveys show about the same dry traction as V12s

The tirerack had these economic tire reviews and sumitomos where 2nd place,.installed them today, car feels lighter, steering response a little off, but I guess it's the tire breaking inn period. I drive mostly small distances and lots of star stop situations. I decided for the sumis and they seem fine . The mpss were too expensive!

Thank you for your initial reviews josemh23. Let us know how they are after the break-in as well!

I had V12s and I was originally very happy with them but now I'm pretty unimpressed. Great for the price, and excellent wet traction, but the dry traction and longevity left a lot to be desired. My rears lasted all of 5 months and now they're down to 3/32". Dry traction was okay, better than the stock RFTs, but Yokohama S.Drives feel better and stick better in the dry. They're much worse in the wet though. Hopefully they last longer.

It's being two months using the tires , so far I think the sides are wearing a little too fast, might be aligment issue cause the car is slightly deviating towards rights. Took it to dealer and they told me it was uneven psi pressure...but I think they went by the door panel sticker cause I asked the SA ( by the way he sucks!!!!) and he told psi is the door one... The ride continues to bee really smooth, potholes don't feel like the car is gonna break and I will buy them again if I correct the little details. By the way they didn't used nitrogen on my local tire shop so that also could make difference

You’re joking, right? RFT’s on front and another brand/model on the rear. NOT GOOD!!
