The lights have made only minor changes.
Different ballasts and a bit differnet colors inside.
Nothing to think about.

The lights which i have postet are last evolution, actual color etc.

Hey i don't know much about the 1er since i own a 3, but my dad just got a 128i and he also wanted xenon/ae's and i was looking around online and found these headlights from depo that **********s sell. Wouldnt these satisfy everything you guys want without having to construct your own headlights and they are pretty cheap!

I would not buy aftermarket stuff, only OEM parts.

But i thought DEPO was oem cus don't they manufacture lights for bmw? They make the blacklines for the 3er.

Don't JleviSW have something for the 128i peeps? They should have a conversion of standard to xenon without the side ambers. The only thing is that the new setup aren't "adaptative headlights"

OEM supplier for BMW E8x is VALEO - only VALEO
There is only two other OEM supplier at BMW who is called ZKW (e.g. E90) and AL (Automotive lightning, e.g. E92)

I was also considering buying these. Looks like a great deal. I can get them for 449 shipped. Thats with all the options.

Close to buying these, if it weren't such a pain in the ass to install I wouldn't have second thoughts about it. Already have HIDs retrofitted and installed in my car. If someone who purchased/installed this already let me know how it went. I know there's a post in the DIY section of a person who swapped out his headlights for euro one's, but thats all I can find.

Haha, I'm up there in that price range too, but I have no regrets .
Anyways seeing that I already am driving around with illegal headlights (HIDs without xenons) I will take the next step and order the Depo headlights, will keep everyone updated.

I have them, they're pretty good. The halos kind of suck, so you might want to upgrade them with some LEDs. Search some of my posts, you'll see my experiences.

Found your post, were very helpful. When installing the depos did you need a jack or something to lift the car up to take off the front bumper? Also how did your search end for the LED halos?
