Wheel weights & BBKs
I want to get the StopTech BBK kit for my 135i but after using the clearance template I found that the wheel weights will interfere with the caliper. 1 set has 2 wheels weights on the "outside" of the rim, no big deal. But my stock rims have 15 weights on the outside.
Will it even be possible to balance this rim by putting weights in a location that doesn't interfere with the calipers? (Yes, my wheels are dirty. Yes, this is ironic considering my screen name)

That really is a lot of weight; you might have a bent wheel or a slightly malformed tire. That being said, even 1 weight will interfere as it is obviously the thickness of the weight not the number that matters.
I believe that if you were to have the wheels rebalanced, a competent shop could move the weights further inside the barrel so as to not catch the caliper.

I'd think so too. And possibly even remove and re-install the tire on the wheel, you may have compounding problems right on top of each other. Any chance the tire still is showing a dot on the side? It relates to the tire itself and there's a means where red / yellow dots are to be placed near / opposite (I don't remember but you can look it up) the valve stem for best weight distribution. Something like that may lead to less weights being needed to begin with.

Thanks for the replys. This is how the wheel arrived from BMW. As soon as I saw the weights I thought"damn, that's a lot of weights!" After consulting a few people, I think I'll wait till I can upgrade my rims to 19" just to be on the safe side. Getting things like this accomplished in Germany has been a MAJOR hassle for me. I love living here but nothing in life is free.

I'm not a fan of wheel spacers. I know lots of people use them but I just don't like them. I'll chalk it up to my OCD.
