Emissions in CT
Hello yall,
I would like to put on downpipes in my 135i. I have the downpipe fix for the dash. Does anyone know anyone who works in CT who works doin emissions and is kosher with not looking at the pipe an letting it pass? DM me if you dont want to post. |

whats the test in CT for emissions...?
if its OBD2 then you need a DP fix. I did test/trial for N55 cars in MA trying to pass OBD2 emissions test with O2 spacers/bungs etc. on bank 1 & 2 and it does not work at all. search it, i cant find the thread at the moment

I just went to go pass my emissions yesterday and ended up passing with flying colors. I went to Hoffman auto in east hartford, ct. I'm on stock Downpipes so I didn't have to deal with any of that but I am tuned so I was a little weary. I chatted with the guy for a bit after and he told me he did do a visual inspection with a mirror and saw that my cats were in place. When I questioned him on it, he told me the ones right in the middle of the engine. With all the underbody trays, you can't actually see the downpipes but he thought that the secondary cats on my midpipes were the only cats on the car.
