I am also curious about this. I've been thinking about getting some of the griots polish.

Anyone try p21s metal polish or auto finesse mercury metal polish? I know Kouper has some p21s, but don't know if he's used it yet.

More snow expected this week in tristate area, I really am getting my money's worth on snow tires this season. Past years I would mount these ugly wheels for 2-3 storms but I'd say this is our 5th snow storm already and winter is only half over lol.

The product is optimum metal polish. Available most online detail shops. There are still some stuck on grimey pieces that I'll clay bar off in the spring, but the polish does a nice job.

Looks like either Le mans or Montego. My money is on Le mans Blue.

mb135is - you should edit the thread title and throw 2013 in there to clear things up so there's no ambiguity. =P Might help the recent onslaught.

Sometimes it just doesn't matter what you do… jerks will be jerks just for the sake of being jerks. This is the sight greeting me when I exited the office building tonight… I'm already parked out in the boonies where even in the middle of the day it's EASY to find parking spots with empty spaces next to them. This dickweed found it necessary to park his '91 crew-cabbed extended bed POS within a fraction of an inch of my bumper. Karma is a bitch.

Sometimes I think there's a delicate balance in parking far away from other cars, but not TOO far away. If you're super far from the other cars, I think this kind of thing is more likely to occur, as some asshole will inevitably see your car and think "Oh look, fancy pants here in his BMW thinks his car is so special"......Not that he'd be wrong

Seems like you can't have anything nice anymore. This happens to me on occasion as well. People at work would find it amusing to park their car so close to my 1 I'd have go thru the passenger side to get in. Small spaces and a lot full of mostly SUVs didn't help.

If I would taken the same photo one hour earlier at 5pm instead of 6pm there would have been 10 cars in the shot, so it's not like I'm parking away from other cars. Judging by the overall condition of his 25 year old vehicle, I'd say he's been parking away from other cars in order to avoid damage to his own truck. Let's face it… a BMW 135is is the antithesis of what he is driving in just about every way. It takes a small or angry person to allow their behavior to be dictated by that kind of amorality.

I agree. if anything, I don't really ever park away from anyone. I street park here in Brooklyn and manhattan when I go somewhere and just park with everyone else everywhere else. I've just never thought that was important.....except if one wants to attract attention!

I picked my brand new 135is up a couple weeks ago.
This car is such a blast to drive around, and I haven't even broken past 4k rpm yet (1200 miles soon.)
I've owned many cars before this one but nothing really had ever felt so balanced sporty and practical at the same time.

Sapphire black/black+blue stitch/DCT/both pkgs.

That exhaust note.
