Any Priority 1 options?

Just curious if and when we'll find out if there are any Priority 1 options that we'll be able to order on the 1 series in the US, such as lemon interior or anthracite headliner?

I know the E90s allow you to order lemon interior. Just have my fingers crossed that we'll be able to get them in the 1 series.

What exactly is Priority 1? I have heard that Terra might be an option here.

In another thread, there is a screen shot from the ordering system that showed Terra and Lemon as Priority One options.

Priority One means a 'sold car', not one of the ones they are ordering for their lot.

So you mean for buyers who put down money and specify options to order a car for later delivery (as many people here will be doing)? Why wouldn't those options be listed in the catalog or on the website?

I believe they don't list them because of a combination of two likely reasons. First, they would be expected to have these on the lot for people to see, and they already have enough color combinations that people want to see. Second, it's really a special thing to those in-the-know, to offer them a bit more than your average tire kicker.

Do Priority One options only affect color selections?

I posted a much more complete picture of the Priority One program back in August, including a link to Model Year 2008 internal BMW documentation of costs for certain items.

You'll notice that color changes in leather or paint are generally that same as the standalone option, meaning they cost no extra than metallic paint or leather normally costs.
