Weisslicht LED side lens replacement - what am I missing?
I ordered a pair of smoked led side lenses from bimmian.com late last year.
I finally got around to installing them today and i'm confused. The box indicates they are for E90, 91, 92, 93, 82, 88, 87, 81 and 60. part number is lslxx1soh. The connectors on the end of the replacement vs stock are completely different. Am I missing something here or did I get the wrong model? See pic... |

you have to unclip the white piece from your OEM sidemarker. Turn it counter clock wise and you will be able to remove it. Then remove your OEM bulb and that's where you'll see the needed connector

^ Ya that's probably because you can't just turn it and pull it out. You have to first pull up on the tab located on the gray part connecting to the white piece(nearest the o-ring) and then turn. I used a small screwdriver and just lodged it underneath the tab and then turned.

For the passenger side I remember it was toward the front. I believe the driver side was the same but I don't remember as I did that one much quicker.
