Exhaust hanger

Does anyone have any tricks for installing the exhaust on the hangers? Let me know thanks

Seriously though, take the rubber piece off of the hanger, lube it up really well, put it on the new exhaust first, and then use it as leverage to get the exhaust on.

I use a thicker silicone like dielectric grease or brake caliper slide lube. Works great

Thanks I'm going to try that. I was going to keep the hanger on but you idea sounds better. Do you know if I need to take the rear diffuser off or if I could do it on.

You can leave it on. I found getting them off harder than getting them on.

napa sells an exhaust hanger removal tool. i bought it and it took 30 seconds to take each off.. totally worth the 16 bucks.

That's what I'm going to go buy tomorrow. Thanks for a store I was having issues finding one. All the stores I asked said they never herd if that tool, I was amazed.

Not if you have a hanger removal tool, with that it takes seconds. But just wondering how did you get it off without that tool.
