Hope the license plate does not give your 1M an inferiority complex. Congrats.

Wow! Very nice find on the 1 Series M.

With the cars in your collection I can't believe you didn't buy the 1M when it came out initially. You obviously know your cars though as any one of the other cars in the garage would be on my dream list. Especially the 991 GT3. Love that car.

I bet you have a Cayman GT4 on order too?

Thanks. I have deposits on GT3RS, GT3RS.2, 960 and the numbered special edition that they will inevitably announce following the RS.2.

Always nice to see that the little BMW fella is welcomed to swim with the exotics in the sea.

Congrats on the 1M! That it is included in such a collection as yours is a testament to it's rightful place in the pantheon of all time greats. Is that a 991 GT3 in Mexico Blue that I spy? One of my all time favorite colors on ANY car. That Carerra GT is not too shabby either, lol. Where is that Ford GT hiding? How do you ever decide which one to drive?!

So far, so good. Needs exhaust, more power, shorter shift and a better stereo, but I'm not going to change it from stock.

GT3 is Riviera blue. Ford is for sale here:

http://www.motionendeavours.com/test.php

I never drive it as I find it very claustrophobic to sit in.

That's quite a collection. Special/rare cars like yours is the way to go.

As I'm about to buy a 997.2 GT3 RS myself I would love to hear a small comparison against the 991 GT3 if you don't mind, and what do you think about the two models. Lovely color on the 991!!

Cheers and congrats.

If you find it too quiet in stock form, I would suggest adding a mid pipe (N55 or mad dad). It will growl a little louder, and the N55 mid pipe is OEM. I noticed a little bump in power too.

I don't know with 100% certainty, but they look virtually identical to mine.

http://www.derekweaver.com/rodders-g...post-car-lift/

Cost is ~$2200 + installation.
They are purchased through the website, with the order and delivery fulfilled through a local company (dependent upon purchaser's location).
My total cost was close to $4000 with tax, shipping and assembly.

Excellent product with absolutely no issues or complaints in past three years (I have four identical lifts). My research indicated that Weaver is widely known to be second to none in their quality. It has other models and configurations available.

Two starting considerations based upon experiences:

1- there are some other lifts that are not designed and built to the same quality. That is an absolutely critical consideration - do not make a decision based upon price. I have personally seen a lift with similar form and appearance that literally failed to hold its position during operation, with the result that the car slid off a rear corner from a height of about six feet.

2 - measure ALL dimensions, check, measure again, check again, imagine opening car and house doors and convertible tops, measure again, check again, take into account garage door openers and runners, light fixtures, shelving needs, room for walking and general clearance, etc. And then recheck everything again. You will find that in general you will need about a twenty-foot cube for one lift.

Post if you want more.
