Poll: Which color to powder coat
So i've been leaning towards keeping my lm reps and just powder coating them. I'm either going with flat black with polished lip or flat black with only the rivets polished. Here's what it looks like on a SG e90.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=231614 Let me know what you guys think. Here's my car as it stands now Here's the two choices: And i'm also thinking of just polishing the outer lip on the all black wheels. So the whole step lip isn't polished. What color is your ride? What style are your wheels? Thats a huge deciding factor.

Yeah Number 1 (Ichiban) I'm not a fan polished bolts look, so I say sell em and get Breytons.

Not to change the topic, but what made you decide on powder coating rather than just painting? I've been thinking about darkening mine and was debating which would be better to go with. Just hoping you could share your thoughts if you already performed the exercise...

I like the standard silver look of wheels, but if you have to make them black i would go with the second choice and leave a little bit of silver on the rim
