Want to trade wives ? My wife hates the 135.
The wife pretty much told me yesterday either way she wants to keep the car and if I wanted to get rid of it..."would you consider taking the G and modding that instead?"....uh....NO..."will you mod it for me then?"

My fault! typo, left out the "a" before performance suspension. KW coils, to be specific. Sometimes I forget how hard it is to explain things on the interwebs w/out being direct, sorry

Hahaha...that's an entirely different forum...and we're not members! As for the BMW performance kit...according to what I saw on the site you gave them the last few of your vin for model/option specific setup....no? Either way, that setup isn't my first choice as I want the adjustability. Put that in there in case people came forward and said they had it, highly recommended it and said adjustability wasn't needed. However, my wife and I do frequent road trips to destinations where I'd want to stiffin it up, also have a couple friends who track...so who knows. |

Tempting...used shocks don't really appeal to me unless they're high end and rebuildable.
But in looking at those it reminded me of a point I forgot to mention. With the adjustable fronts...what are you guys doing about the stock strut brace...doesn't it get in the way? |

Is the M3 front sway bar for 200$ worth it?
By that i mean is the difference noticeable and how so? (is this what you guys are talking about? http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-21...e-e82-e9x.aspx ) hard to believe that makes a noticeable impact on handling.

the effect on my e82 coupe in city driving and some country roads has been tighter car feel, slightly more difficult to turn wheel, and increased precision in steering.

How difficult is it to install? is it a DIY or does the dealer need to do it? I know the shop foreman at my dealer so i think he would do it cheap if i couldnt do it.

U can DIY if u have jacks and time. Hardest part is to get bushings onto the bar and into the metal cup. Make sure you tighten again after getting it off jacks, or so i have been told make sure you have the bushings sorted out, the REAL OEM has the part numbers mixed up for top and bottom. so get 2 of each and u will be fine. if you get a kit, make sure you have 2 with flat top, 2 round C shapes PS, i feel more over-steer since the back end is easier to wiggle enough for DTC light to flash

I disagree - the most difficult part is removing the undertry that's held in place by a billion tiny little screws - there's just so many of them
Also note one complication to the very install. You new to remove two pieces of underbody bracing to get the new bar on. It's not difficult (each member is held in by 4 bolts) but its something that you need to be aware of |

Dan says he can't get E88 performance springs...is this because they don't make them (I think I recall somebody questioning this) and if that's the case, I'm concerned other manufacturers are just throwing the E82 springs under it as well and the rates aren't right. Any input experience....if I'm gonna go to the trouble and expense, I want it right, not compromised.

FSDs?
I think you can match a different spring to FSDs, or you could play it safe and pick up TCK coils with rematched springs from HPA. But thats a bit more money http://hpashop.com/HPA-E82-E9X-Koni-...it-e82-e9x.htm |

If you're looking into the Koni FSD shocks, they go very well with Eibach Pro-kit springs. Should work fine on a vert. Though coils are almost always a better option because they're matched by the same manufacturer.

No FSD's, I read about them and if memory serves...I don't think they're adjustable.
In autox stock class, it looks like I can only replace shocks and front sway bar |

Which organization? SCCA or BMWCCA? Because the class rules are different in both.
