Talking Brisbane Detailing Feedback

Some guys have asked how I went with the detail by Kim at Detail Evolution in Brisbane... (0418 151 426)

In a word. Impressed.

The Z4 was looking very tired, especially the seats and door trims.

4.5 hours later. Looks as good as new.
High quality work. Care and attention to detail. Great price as well.

Four thumbs up from me.

If you live on the southside you must've seen the white z4 that's always parked at market sq.. the tool that owns it likes to walk to his car and pose in it from time to time throughout the day lol.

Very nice! Love the Z4's!

You need to do something about your rotors though!

Nope - out west. Only been to the southside of Brisbane in this car twice that I remember.

$275, but $350 would be more of a normal price I think.

Do something? Why? They are solid gold rotors. Nothing says trashy and expensive modification like upgrading your rotors to solid gold!

(but really its too wet today to take it out for a spin. It would get filthy on the wet roads - it was hard enough to get it on the driveway for two minutes to take a photo before little spits of rain started to come down again)

Alan, can I ask what the price included? Full interior/exterior wash I assume, but was it a full polish/wax too?

Looks good!

Lol at solid gold rotors!

Btw, slightly OT but I'm interested in getting a vapour steam cleaner. I watched a few youtube videos and I'm convinced... definitely need! Have seen ads for it on Danoz but I think they would be the cheap knock-off versions. Anyone know where I can get one?

Another shameless plug because I owe a big thank you.

Picture this. One of my old cars being sold to a very fussy buyer.
In between dropping it off to get roadworthied Friday and taking it to get a quick clean and wax on Saturday morning, two separate scratch and scuffs appeared on the car.
WTF!
A 30cm long scratch on the rear side panel and a bullbar scuff on the rear bar!
Both too deep to get out easily.
ARGH!
Who did this to me - am I jinxed?

Kim to the rescue for me. He took my call on a Saturday afternoon and machine buffed both back to be barely noticable. Then he gave me a secret weapon to do a final wax on the car to cover up the swirl marks in the paint. (They were quite bad from a hatchet job done by another detailer - Cargroomers - I will never touch them again!)

Amazing result.
Big thank you to Kim for getting me out of the ka-ka!
