Mustang Cobra tried to race me......?

A mustang followed me through several off ramps and lane changes, to many to be a coinsidence. It was red and probably a few years old. I was goin about 110 in the fast lane on the highway until my off ramp came up. He pulled up next to me at the light and I saw his fancy little cobra's all over the car. So I took off like normal got a little ahead of him then slowed right down so he wouldn't misake me for racing him. let's see 390 hp vs 215, hmmmmm thats like me pulling up next to Geo Metro wanting a race, I don't think so. But just goes to show how fast this car looks and how much respect the BMW emblem gets. Give me a 400hp M3 and I would have slapped him around like a little bitch. Well I also would probably be dead by now, but what the hell.

These are beautifull cars, I know I can't stop looking at mine!

It's not all about the horsepower and I'm sure your ride was A LOT more comfortable compared to the mustang

PS. I wonder what campbell has to say about your incident..Did you have 20 inch rims as well?

Just lowly stock rims for me. And trust me I wasn't in envy of his his ride in the least. If I wanted a POS Ford I would have bought one.

Little story:

BMW's have been in my family since long before I was born. My dad grew up with a few early BMW's that my grandpa brought back from Germany while he was in the military. The first memories I have are of my grandparents '69 and '73 2002's. Those things were great, he had put Metric Mechanic engines and transmissions in them. They were a blast to drive once I got old enough. My grandparents then had 4 other cars, all BMWs of course. My dad, as soon as he had enough money got one on his own. He then went through 4 more BMW's till he has his E46 330 he has now. My first car was a 12 year old 320I in green of all colors handed down from my grandparents to my dad then to me. It got totalled in an accident through no fault of my own and I have been an empty individual ever since. My 23 year old brother has already had 3 BMW's and this is my third as well at 28 years old although I am the first since my grandparents to buy one brand new. I think it's safe to say that we are a BMW family through and through and I will never be without one.

I really enjoy my '06 325, but as is the case with some on this list - it makes me think of the old joke "what's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine..."

I like my 325 for what it is: a well built comfortable driver's sedan. And although a Mustang is not as finely built, they are very sturdy and fun cars. This is my third BMW, but I have also had 5 Mustangs all V8's. My most recent was an '03 Cobra, and I also have a home built 5.0 Fairmont autocross'er.

I will only say that some BMW owners can have their nose up in the air just like Ford owners can have their heads up their arse.
