Electric Red or Alpine White???
Right now, I drive my mom's 2005 330i sedan, but my parents are going to order me the 2006 325i sedan in a couple months. I am so indecisive about what color to get. I will be 19 when I get my new car, so I am thinking that since I am young, I may as well get the electric red. but the BMW I am in now is alpine white, and I love that color too. I have seen the electic red in person and thought is was so hot, and I saw the white, and thought it was just cute. If I got the white, I would probably get the windows tinted. Which do you all think is better for a 19 year old girl???

Arctic!
lol, between your choices, definitely Electric Red. Plus, then you won't have the same color as your mom, assuming she is keep her 330i.

I am 24 and suddenly I feel old!! BTW, I think red is better than white, but not the ELECTRIC RED. Go for the BARRIQUE RED. :rocks: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4969 Or you can play it safe and go black.

Wow, you're one lucky girl!
Anyhoo, I would definitely go for Electric Red. As u said, it's HOT! White is ok, but Electric Red is a much more EMOTIONAL colour. I would highly advise against Barrique Red. It's a nice colour, but I don't think the brown-red would match your personality (given your age, I assume you're a young, energetic person?)

Definitely go Electric Red over the Alpine White. But it depends what you are going for... wild and sexy, or refined yet chic. For a 19 YO female though, I would say the red would be a hit!

With Electric Red, it would look great. But then again, as I said, it all depends on what you are going for. Black and Alum is young and sporty, which would match the Red's allure perfectly.

You're 19 and getting an E90 sedan? Congratulations! When is the baby due?
We have an ER 330i and can report that both the wife and 2yr old daughter love the color of our Familymobile. Get the ZSP with the 162 wheels while you are at it. |

A bit of advice: make SURE your baby seat is installed BEFORE you get to the hospital. You'll be too exhausted by everything else that's been going on to worry about that as well. We got a Graco Passage with the lift-out, clip-in seat, which makes life much more convenient. Folded, the stroller fits right into the trunk.
One brilliant little feature BMW included was a well designed for a diaper bag below the trunk floor. They had to get rid of the spare tire to do it, but the tradeoff was well worth it. You'll appreciate it immensely. Also, carry a bottle of leather cleaner and a rag or wipes in the car at all times. Puke, drool and other baby-produced substances *will* wind up on your nice seats. Plan for that fact. Welcome to the world of family cars. At times I miss my pre-baby roadsters, but the BMW really is every bit as enjoyable to drive. And, of course, I get to share my trips with my wife and daughter this way. Life changes radically with a child, but rest assured, it *is* for the better. Congratulations again! Heck of a gift from Grandma... |

Personally I feel ER would attract TOO MUCH attention, i.e. thieves, cops, loser guys (in your case), racers, etc... Too much potential trouble in my opinion. Either way, it's your car, your color choice, and ultimately your $$ (parents); in the end, with whatever color you choose, your rolling in a BMW!! how i envy you.....

For those in San Diego that have black interiors, does it get really hot??? I am getting the navigation system, and think that black with alum plus navigation will look sporty.
