low profile car jack
Hey all looking for some low profile car jack.
Can I get it from the local super cheap auto or the likes ? (I am going to check them out at lunch) or do I need to get it from a specialized store? My current car jack is too high to fit underneath my car now... |

I did look into that but checking out wooden planks in bunnings and they were so expensive!
or is there places where you can take scrap woods for free or for a low cost? |

The wood from bunnings wasn't very expensive at all... I got MDF... about 30cm wide and maybe 1.2m long.. I then got them to cut it for me so I now have a few MDF squares that I drive the car onto if needed (only for lowered cars, std Msport is fine with my regular jack) |

How low do you need to go?
Costco has a low profile workshop style jack (90mm), that MAY fit, depending on how much you've slammed your car. (actually is there even a Costco in Perth?) Otherwise, a low profile ramp may be the viable option as the others have mentioned |

Now that I am lowered my 2500kg SCA floor Jack doesn't fit under the car. I'm looking at these ramps which are cheaper than most of the car ramps.
http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/p...66#Description Can even get wheel chocks for them Any caravan or camping shop should have them Also if you want a low profile jack this one appears to be reasonably priced. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/trolley-j...item19c95372c3 |

Costco Jack is good!! It fit most cars and they are very reasonably priced.
If you want something better, get the Blue Point one. They are the 2nd tier version of Snap-On Tools. |
