I like the sound of a 125i M sport, with the bigger brakes, and HK, for about $57ish on the road, though I doubt I'll be getting another BMW next, probably go back to MINI land. |

Wow the price is really affordable - there's gonna be a lot of F20's on the road soon!

The N20 in 180kw guise is already running 17.4psi...you won't find much more boost out of that small turbo.

Makes you think, obviously it's different and they're smaller twin turbos, but is our N54 engine (7psi) the most over-engineered/ conservatively tuned turbo engine ever created?! |

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=477882 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=480204 It seems like the VAG group 2.0TFSI is running the exact same amount of boost. I'm guessing the engine has one tiny ass turbo. Would have to push it past 20psi to get some good gains. How much boost does a stock Evo run in its 2.0L? I had the impression it was 20psi+ and that equates to 213kw.

I miss my 125i every single day. I regret selling it for the R.

the 125i was such a good all-rounder that moving away from it always meant making some compromises. i drove alex's 1er after having the R for a while and the immediate impression is how solid and refined the whole package is.
still, i wouldn't even think about going back, the 1er didn't have the speed to match its looks and the wet weather grip was appalling especially at the rear. when it rains, the difference is i actually want to go out for a drive now maybe you need to grab one of these new f20's... seems like the perfect car for you? (maybe with a bigger turbo though) |

I remember there being talk somewhere here about the colored stitching in the new 1 series, I wonder if this is for the coupe aswell because I sat in the new hatch today and they upgraded the leather to dakota!
I asked my Sales rep and he said its only on the hatch and the coupe is staying the same for its whole production cycle.
