three colors really is a joke I'm willing to pay more for color. Also in theory we only have one color and two tones as choices for the color of the car.

If you're willing to pay, you can always take it to a paint shop. You can pick your own color and then you would truly have a unique car.

I think Laguna Seca would work nicely. It's a blue only a true-blue fan or M enthusiast would want.

What is that gigantic sucking sound..... oh its the wind coming out of my sails. I am still very geeked about the 1M but the lack of a blue may just kill this plan for me. heck I'd even go for an Imola Red instead of black or orange.

Any of you guys with a nice LeMans or Montego N54, mt, over black leather getting a 1M? if so, let me know.....

Even the E30 M3 had 4 colors... I personally don't see the rationale here from BMW.

If BMW really wants to milk the connection to the E30 M3 don't they need another color option?

Which I guess would need to be either a silver or gray given the translation of white->white, black->black, red->valencia, silver->?

and on top of that the E30 M3 had two different silvers (salmon and sterling), and three different reds (Henna, Brilliant, and Zinnerberot). So we are really missing some choices....

It will be a crime not to get it with the exclusive color, although I'd get it in DSB if it was possible. But if not available, if I ever get one it will be valencia and with dark brown leather.

They are sticking to a base color philosophy but you have not seen the last of Valencia Orange at least on an M car.

1M = Black, White, Valencia Orange

M3 = Black, White, plus these 7(!) colors...

I can't help but feel that BMW has taken something already practically perfect and just thrown it out.

Tell me, has there ever been a BMW that wasn't available in Silver?

It bothers me, although I wouldn't want blue anyway. A special car should come in special colors. Valencia sucks. Looks like a Honda Element color.

Give me Porsche GT3-RS orange or green!
