Meth/Snow performance

Anyone run snow-performance meth stage 1/2/3? Can you recommend which stage to go with or a different company? Snow-performance seems like the best ive come across

What mods are you running? How do you plan to control and monitor the spray?

I'm researching this now but I'm running a JB4. Most of the companies appear to be using the same Aquatec 5800 pump and most the kits are using quick connects and cheap lines that I'm not a fan of. So I plan on putting together my own "kit" using only NPT and AN fittings, an FSB, check valve, solenoid, and stainless reinforced Teflon lines. I did't see where Snow was offering an FSB.

snowperformance has a way to control the spray (via software im guessing) and it can be more controlled dependent on what stage you buy 1/2/3 (or how much money you spend...)

I am running BMW PPK, aFe Cold Air Intake, Berk Mids and Berk Race Axel Back, ETS FMIC currently and with meth I would be adding: Snow Performance Stage 1/2 Meth Kit/ETS Charge Pipe with Meth Bung's.

Does PPK auto tune? Are you able to monitor everything with PPK? If not, how do you know how things are currently running and what are you hoping to gain? Other than lower IATs and potential gains in octane, if timing can't be adjusted and PPK is already running conservatively I'd think there would be minimal gains at best.

Am I not correct?

edit: forgot about the direct injection cleaning properties as well.

IMHO Aquamist the best in the world at water/meth injection. I'm running the Aquamist HFS-3 system with Cobb and it performs flawlessly.

Also, you'll need a tune to take advantage of methanol. The PPK isn't going to get the job done.

I'll second the aquamist. Had that setup on my R56 and it was FLAWLESS. also put an HFS-3 in a friends 1.8T. Also have the AEM setup in my GLH. It is marginal in comparison. The snow system looks rather cheap too.

Check out howerton engineering for tanks/fittings/custom setups!

thanks guys!

yeah tune wise my guess is PPK wont cut it...

waited forever for Cobb to do an N55 version of accessport only to find when it was released about 2 weeks ago that it was only for the 2011 model year N55...us 2012'ers have a funky ECU version that they havent tested yet...maybe meth is a little further away than I thought

JB4 may work but im still in warranty and would rather have a flash tune than a piggyback just to eliminate any issues
