Are you sure you want to drive your 135 in the winter? If so, check out Tire Rack reviews for info., then compare prices with what your dealer's selling. Pretty good chance you'll save quite a bit by buying from Tire Rack and having them installed by any competent tire shop.

Bought my Michelin XI 3s from Tire Rack last fall. The website is ultra-informative/comparisons for performance/mix and match sizes w/rims, etc. Just outstanding information...and service to match!
One of the other features that I liked was how the website was able to search a "cooperating"/suggested garage in my town. It was great to be able to have the tires shipped to the suggested garage...the garage called when they arrived and installed on the same day. Can't say enough about service all-around! |

You can probably buy a set of winter tires mounted on wheels from Tire Rack for what you would pay for tires alone from the dealer.
We just had a set of tires shipped from Tire Rack to a local installer. Great service, and a really good price.

I bought a complete set of wheels and winters with the TPMs mounted and sent via Ups the same day I ordered them last December. Price was unbeatable from Tire Rack. Don't mess with mounting tires when you need to change over from summers to winters and unless you have a love affair with your dealer, I'd go Tire Rack. I've ordered 4 sets of tires and 2 sets of rims from them. Best customer service I've had in a long time.
PS: You don't pay sales tax on the tires either.

I got run flats through Tirerack and had them shipped to a local Tirerack approved installer. Winter is one time I actually do want run flat. I opted for Blizzak LM-25 RFTs and like them. They preserve some steering feel compared to a previous set of regular winter tires I had. They're not as winter aggressive as the WS60/WS70, but I think the LM-25 is a good match for what I need in the winter with most roads very well plowed. I just want a proper winter compound that doesn't turn into porcelain at <40F. It was just under $1k all said and done with shipping, tax, install. I'm guessing it will cost you close to double that if you go to a BMW dealer.
