Hey it looks pretty good man! The beige and black work very well with the walnut. I've got poplar, and prefer the non contrasting setup. But it works very well.

Gotta say its looking pretty good so far. The black trim strips really do look standard-spec as if delivered that way from the factory, regardless of the the black mats.
Very nicely done, ihavedrivenanm1. One of my favourite options on Porsches, and something I would have gotten had I not opted for the black interior, is deviated carpets. With a little cash to buy the carpeting parts, this could be accomplished aftermarket on the 3-series as well. An e-90 with beige leather seats and upper doors and then black carpeting all around would look super-fly, and, when finished, completely stock... only far cooler and way more practical. I swore I'd never have a beige carpet in a car again after trying to keep my last one clean, and this would be a perfect solution

Drive safe.

good solution to your problem though!
I've only gotten it dirty once in the two months that I've had the car.

LOL!

My apologies.

Now that I have a reference context for the critisism above I see what's going on more clearly. "Ass" indeed.

ROTFLMAO!

This is why I always go with dark interiors such as dark grey and black. Those marks and carpet stains always annoy me.

This girl I know has a beige interior and had a cleaver solution. She cut some clear contact paper (stuff girls line drawers and cupboards with). She applied the clear film to the door threshold. Now her shoes barely leave a mark. And when they do leave marks she easily peals it up and replaces it. You can't really see it since its clear. You know what they say... necessity is the mother of invention (in this case re-purposing a product).

Any what might you be trying to show by the pictures?
The FMIC was pretty useful, at that, power wise, it still puts my 330 to shame.
The sound in my car had an overall amazing and full sound. Its a 10, not a 15.

If you are going to try to make fun of my old car, at least find something someone would laugh at rather than applaud and support.

Your trim idea is understandable, maybe you cant get into the habbit of lifting your feet, or you need to drag your feet over your car while getting in. Personally I dont have this problem. But the black floor mats make it look like shit. There contrast, and then there is something that is completly out of place.
