I think in the last month I haven't had a day where there wasn't at least something in the mail I'll need to install.

Just ordered a homelink/autodim mirror. I swear I have an obsession with getting every single cool bit this car could've had.

Also I lost my garage door opener.

I did go with the cheapest cost but I'm still mad shipping from Illinois to Oregon was 45 dollars

There are parts staring at me while I sleep...
Shifter bushings, SSK lever, selector rod bushing, spherical bearing, pins, clips, etc.

Maybe this weekend, it's supposed to (finally) be above freezing Saturday and Sunday. I also have to adjust my parking brake, and then I need to have the state inspection done (the only technicians allowed to touch my car, unless it's PITA stuff).

Ship trunk "Storage compartment" parts in (SA493A) and let me know what you think about the swap.
It's been on my want list since I seen the 3 series with it. It was not available to the US 1'ers, I think Canada did though.

I think all that part is is the regular trunk liner with the cut-outs for the forward trunk tie downs. They're easy enough to add with an x-acto knife.

Learned a lesson today. Don't leave Christmas gifts in your trunk, especially craft beer presents.

Two bottles broke in the trunk. Luckily the battery and all electrical was dry. Just a fun smell to try and wash out of the trunk or inevitably buy new trunk liners.

Also starting to think about the 1M exhaust conversion. Contemplating cutting up this diffuser and working some body mold to create something OEM that's similar to the E46 M3 design until I get around to the rear arches.

My OEM center caps cannot, for the love of God, stay in the same place. I always align them with the M sticker and valve stem, but they move as soon as I drive for a few miles.

You could put a small piece of scotch tape spanning from the roundel to the rim.

Mine had a tiiinny bit of oil inside - my single stage manifold literally poured oil out . Otherwise perfect.

Currently got Hassmachine's 130i tune. Even flashed it myself! I'd yell from the heavens about it but it's still in the 'soft' release phase, so I'll let Hass make the announcement.

A stock 130i makes 261hp/232tq. That with my 3.73 rips the rear tires off in first

The 3.73 is the next big thing on my list, but I might just save up for an LSD with the same ratio. If I do, then a beefy front sway bar will be the next suspension mod.

This weekend, I readjusted my parking brake, but found something really bad in the process. My hub was wobbling, after just putting in a new wheel bearing, hub, and half shaft. That was scary! I can't believe I didn't even realize that it was loose from driving it. Pulled off the axle nut, put on a new one, and impact gunned the hell out of it.

There's no more wobble.

Also, I did a rear end alignment, again, since the last time I did it, I did it with a loose wheel . Now the car goes straight again!
